As Strategic Finance Manager, you will serve as the FP&A lead for the Product & Engineering and Customer Support teams, acting as a strategic bridge between finance and operations. Your primary responsibilities include architecting and maintaining a robust Customer Support capacity planning model that translates operational and financial drivers into strategic headcount and resource plans in partnership with Support and Product leadership.
You will serve as the dedicated strategic financial advisor for Customer Support and IT organizations, leading forecasting, budget-vs-actual analysis, and monthly close support. You'll own the analytical narrative around SaaS retention metrics and core customer success KPIs (utilization, SLA attainment, cost-to-serve) to provide data-driven visibility into customer health and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining interactive dashboards that empower cross-functional partners with real-time visibility into operational performance, costs, and forward-looking forecasts. You will spearhead critical company-wide initiatives such as the Monthly Business Review (MBR) and comprehensive churn/retention reporting, combining rigorous financial insight with strong project leadership. Additionally, you'll optimize cost of revenue and IT spend by partnering across the customer-experience cost base to forecast and analyze spend, driving visibility and efficiency.
You bring 5+ years of FP&A or strategic finance experience, ideally from a high-growth SaaS or FinTech company. You have strong financial modeling fundamentals including forecasting, variance analysis, and the ability to build models others can trust and use. Advanced SQL proficiency is essential—you're comfortable working with data directly, writing complex queries, joining across sources, and validating your own numbers independently. You demonstrate a high bias to action, curiosity, and partnership, moving quickly and building trust with business stakeholders. Clear communication skills enable you to turn analysis into concise, decision-ready narratives for leadership.
Nice-to-haves include Python for data analysis or automation, and prior experience partnering with Customer Support, IT, or Product/Engineering organizations.
