Figma is hiring for its Strategic Finance team to solve the company's most pressing business issues. The team owns budgeting, annual and quarterly planning, resource allocation, and financial analysis across the organization.
Three specialization tracks are available:
**Go-To-Market:** Focus on Sales business planning. Own and materially improve Figma's annual planning and forecasting process. Influence resourcing and investment decisions across the Sales organization.
**Corporate:** Drive high-accuracy revenue and ARR close processes. Own, scale, and improve Figma's top-line financial ARR close and revenue model. Leverage automation to surface data-driven insights enabling proactive, margin-impacting management actions.
**Growth:** Support Figma's acquisitions strategy. Own reporting and forecasting for acquired businesses (revenue, headcount, operating expenses). Partner with acquired business leadership to identify growth levers, inform pricing and packaging, and build unit economics frameworks.
Core responsibilities across all tracks include: driving alignment on KPIs and key metrics; building annual operating plans and quarterly/monthly forecasts; developing cross-functional partnerships to formulate business insights; owning and improving financial processes; partnering with Strategic Finance, Data Science, and RevOps teams; preparing executive presentations; experimenting with AI-driven solutions to automate workflows; and scaling financial operating rhythms as Figma grows.
You'll have substantial visibility into the business, focus on highest-priority issues, and be plugged into every facet of the organization. The role requires analytical and strategic thinking, strong communication, structured problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity.
Required: 5+ years in investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, Big 4 audit, business operations, or related fields. Experience in financial planning and data-driven analysis. Demonstrated ability to build processes from scratch and distill complex issues into frameworks. Strong independent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred: Experience at high-growth B2B SaaS companies (especially GTM experience). SQL/AI tooling experience and deep work with large datasets.
