SoFi is a next-generation financial services company and national bank using mobile-first technology to serve millions of members. The Strategic Finance team enables the company to develop and execute its growth strategy by driving financial visibility and accountability.
In this role, you'll support SoFi's Global Operations function, which is responsible for end-to-end member servicing and operational support across products including account opening, loan funding, member support, fraud operations, and service readiness. You'll act as a finance partner translating operational drivers into forecasts, budgets, KPI insights, and investment tradeoffs that enable leaders to make data-driven decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitate annual, quarterly, and intra-quarter financial forecasting for the Operations function
- Support monthly close and budget vs. actuals analysis, driving clarity on expense trends
- Evaluate whether the firm should deviate from forecasted quarterly plans by weighing financial and strategic trade-offs
- Create and communicate regular guidance on forward-looking financial performance with key stakeholders
- Enable Operations teams to prioritize initiatives by evaluating and sizing impacts on volumes, revenues, and variable profit
- Partner with the Data team to identify, monitor, and develop actionable insights from key performance metrics
- Prepare internal and external materials for management discussion and analysis of financial and business performance indicators
You'll need 6+ years of experience ideally in financial services, operations, private equity, FP&A, consulting, or corporate finance. Strong proficiency with Excel, Workday, Google Suite, SQL, and emerging AI technologies is essential. You should have excellent communication skills, demonstrated ability to present to key decision-makers, and a collaborative working style. A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
