Ashby is hiring a Strategic Customer Success Manager to lead deep, consultative partnerships with enterprise customers. You'll manage a book of ~20 strategic accounts representing $2M+ in ARR, focusing on product adoption, customer health, and retention across high-growth organizations and public companies.
In this role, you'll become a product and domain expert in Ashby's hiring software suite, enabling customers to maximize value through implementation, configuration, and training tailored to their specific business outcomes. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations) to drive adoption and shape how Ashby evolves for enterprise use cases.
Key responsibilities include multi-threading across customer stakeholders, translating complex product capabilities into simple, actionable guidance, and iterating on playbooks as the strategic customer motion matures. You'll take pride in operational excellence—crisp communication, real-time CRM updates, and data-driven continuous improvement.
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of B2B SaaS customer success experience supporting complex technology implementations. You're a listener first, detail-oriented, and energized by learning deeply configurable products. Prior recruiting, hiring management, or interview experience is a plus but not required. This is a product-oriented CSM role focused on adoption and engagement as leading indicators; renewal negotiation and upsell are handled by a dedicated Contract Manager team. Variable compensation is not included, reflecting the company's philosophy of hiring adoption-focused CSMs.
Ashby is a well-funded, fast-growing enterprise software company (100%+ YoY growth, tens of millions ARR, very low churn) backed by Y Combinator and top investors. Customers include Snowflake, OpenAI, Shopify, Ramp, Notion, and Zapier.
