Antora Energy is a climate tech company developing thermal batteries that convert low-cost electricity into reliable heat and power for industry, data centers, and the grid. We're hiring a Strategic Communications Manager to shape how customers, communities, and policymakers understand Antora's mission and technology. This is not a traditional PR or social-media-first role. You'll sit at the intersection of communications, commercial strategy, and policy. Your core responsibility is learning Antora's technology and market position quickly, then translating that knowledge into clear, persuasive materials tailored to each audience. Key responsibilities include: - Building and adapting presentation decks, one-pagers, and other materials for different audiences and use cases, from quick updates to entirely new materials for untapped markets - Producing and editing written content, talking points, thought leadership pieces, videos, and graphics that explain Antora's story at the right level of detail—from high-level pitches to nuanced energy market analysis - Supporting cross-functional teams on high-stakes events, new partnerships, and strategic initiatives - Collaborating with policy and commercial teams on community engagement, policy work, and demonstrating value to utilities and grid operators - Driving execution of announcements and executive communications, including launch planning, website updates, partner coordination, speaker prep, and executive social media - Building and expanding AI-assisted communications workflows, helping teammates leverage AI for their own content, and maintaining a single source of truth for facts and messaging You may come from communications, marketing, consulting, policy, campaigns, or a related background. What matters most is your ability to make complex topics clear and your willingness to jump in wherever the company needs help. You'll use AI as a partner to produce better content faster and take on more than one person typically could. Requirements: - 3+ years in communications, marketing, consulting, policy, campaigns, or related role, with a track record of clarifying complicated subjects (we value what you've built and how fast you learn over raw years) - Experience building content from scratch and owning it end-to-end across formats and audiences - Strong writing and editing skills with good judgment about what to emphasize and what to omit - Ability to take on whatever the company needs—from strategic priorities to execution details—and move fast across multiple shifting projects - Comfort with basic design, including building clean decks and one-pagers, and directing designers when needed - Deep hands-on experience with AI tools, including custom workflows you've built, and a track record of pushing their capabilities - Ability to get up to speed on new subjects quickly and work directly with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy - Genuine interest in Antora's clean energy mission and a collaborative, low-ego approach Desired qualifications: - Strong understanding of the energy sector, energy technology, and energy markets - Experience managing corporate or executive social media channels - Experience with graphic design or video production - Exposure to policy, political, or community engagement work
