Behavox is a data operating platform that helps multinational enterprises organize data into actionable intelligence for risk management, compliance, and business growth. The company serves highly regulated financial institutions including global banks, hedge funds, asset managers, and energy firms.
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will own the full commercial relationship with a portfolio of complex, highly regulated financial institutions. Your responsibilities span delivery outcomes, commercial performance, executive relationships, and long-term strategic growth. You will manage accounts building or strengthening unified controls frameworks that integrate communications surveillance, trade surveillance, compliant archiving, and policy management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Independently assess account health and risk across commercial, operational, and relationship dimensions; surface risk early through ticket patterns, stakeholder signals, and adoption data
- Design and execute quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and executive business reviews (EBRs) with strategic conversations about compliance posture, regulatory risk, control maturity, and platform value
- Own all renewals across your portfolio: build retention strategy, lead negotiations, close deals, and accurately forecast ARR churn risk with mitigation plans
- Drive inbound expansion deals independently and collaborate with Account Executives on strategic accounts; lead with value-based positioning
- Own client-facing communication when delivery issues arise; translate technical updates into actionable language and hold internal teams accountable through resolution
- Navigate complex organizational structures involving Heads of Surveillance, compliance analysts, technology teams, and operations teams; manage both executive-level and working-level relationships simultaneously
- Manage escalations end-to-end with minimal manager involvement; build relationships with Product, Engineering, and Support to accelerate resolution
This is a hybrid role based in the Milan office with high autonomy on account strategy, renewals, escalations, and executive relationships. The role requires the ability to think strategically and execute operationally, often in the same day.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Deep working knowledge of enterprise compliance technology and unified controls frameworks, specifically how communications surveillance, trade surveillance, compliant archiving, and policy management converge into single control systems at regulated financial institutions
- Understanding of how clients evaluate and mature their compliance posture over time
- Strong knowledge of the financial services regulatory environment and regulatory obligations driving client demand (communications monitoring, trade reconstruction, archiving mandates) across global banking, hedge fund, asset management, and energy sectors
- Proven ability to navigate multi-stakeholder account management across regulated financial institutions, managing complex organizational structures and both executive-level and practitioner-level relationships simultaneously
- Demonstrated experience with commercial lifecycle management for enterprise SaaS, including full renewal and expansion cycles, retention strategy, churn forecasting, negotiation, close, and pipeline development
- Proven escalation management and operational accountability; ability to own ticket triage, escalation, and resolution end-to-end with minimal manager involvement
