Behavox is a data operating platform that helps multinational enterprises organize and activate data for risk management, compliance, revenue optimization, and business growth. The company specializes in unified controls frameworks that integrate communications surveillance, trade surveillance, compliant archiving, and policy management for regulated financial institutions.
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will own the full commercial relationship with a portfolio of complex, highly regulated clients including global banks, hedge funds, asset managers, and energy firms. This is a high-autonomy role requiring both strategic thinking and operational execution.
Key responsibilities include:
• Account Health & Risk Management: Independently assess account health across commercial, operational, and relationship dimensions. Surface risk early by analyzing ticket patterns, stakeholder signals, and adoption data. Build intervention plans without manager direction.
• Executive Engagement: Design and deliver quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and executive business reviews (EBRs) for all accounts. Lead strategic conversations about compliance posture, regulatory risk, control maturity, and platform value—not product updates.
• Renewal & Churn Management: Own the complete renewal cycle across your portfolio. Build retention strategy, lead negotiations, and close deals. Forecast ARR churn risk accurately and develop mitigation plans using account health data and delivery performance indicators.
• Expansion & Growth: Drive inbound expansion deals independently. Collaborate with Account Executives on strategic accounts using a Unit of One model. Lead with value-based positioning grounded in customer intelligence.
• Delivery Accountability: Own the client-facing narrative when delivery issues arise. Ensure commitments are tracked and fulfilled. Translate technical updates into actionable language. Hold internal teams accountable through confirmed resolution.
• Escalation Management: Triage, escalate, and resolve issues end-to-end for your full portfolio. Manage complex, multi-workstream escalations with minimal manager involvement. Build relationships with Product, Engineering, and Support to accelerate resolution.
This hybrid role is based in the London office. You will operate with significant autonomy on account strategy, renewals, escalations, and executive relationships.
Requirements:
• Deep working knowledge of enterprise compliance technology and unified controls frameworks, specifically how communications surveillance, trade surveillance, compliant archiving, and policy management converge into single control systems at regulated financial institutions. Understand how clients evaluate and mature their compliance posture over time.
• Strong understanding of the financial services regulatory environment and the regulatory obligations driving client demand, including communications monitoring requirements, trade reconstruction, and archiving mandates across global banking, hedge fund, asset management, and energy sectors.
• Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures at regulated financial institutions, managing relationships with Heads of Surveillance, compliance analysts, technology teams, and operations teams. Demonstrated skill managing both executive-level strategic relationships and working-level practitioner relationships simultaneously.
• Extensive experience with commercial lifecycle management for enterprise SaaS, including ownership of the full renewal and expansion cycle: retention strategy, churn forecasting, negotiation, close, and pipeline development in partnership with sales teams. Understanding of how delivery health directly impacts commercial outcomes.
• Demonstrated capability in escalation management and operational accountability. Ability to own ticket triage, escalation, and resolution end-to-end. Experience managing complex, multi-workstream escalations independently and building cross-functional relationships to accelerate resolution.
