You will join a dynamic team of business development leaders focused on reimagining how financial institutions serve their customers through innovative, empathy-centered solutions.
In this role, you will cultivate and manage a dynamic sales pipeline within the Insurance and Wealth sector, formulating strategic deal models and building substantial, complex partnerships. You'll identify new business prospects, drive revenue growth, and engage senior leadership at major financial institutions with executive presence and credibility. You will lead negotiations for multi-year contracts, foster industry connections for strategic collaboration, and work closely with Product and Marketing teams to develop holistic solutions. You'll represent Empathy at industry events and collaborate with team members on joint deals.
You bring 5+ years of successful SaaS sales experience, preferably selling into financial or insurance institutions, plus 3+ years of hands-on business development work including value creation, contract negotiation, and funnel management. You're proficient in MEDDIC/MEDDPIC sales methodology and can confidently present to and influence C-level executives at Fortune 500 firms. You have a proven track record navigating complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, closing high six-figure ACV agreements, and exceeding quotas in high-growth environments. General familiarity with US Insurance and Wealth products and claims processes is a plus; deep domain expertise is not required. You're willing to travel approximately 15% across the US. Prior exposure to Insurance and Wealth organizations, understanding of agent pain points, and familiarity with Salesforce and Gmail are preferred.
