The Insurance & Wealth Solutions Team drives enterprise sales by partnering with life insurance carriers, wealth managers, retirement organizations, and financial advisory groups. You will be a Strategic Account Executive responsible for building and managing a dynamic sales pipeline within the insurance and wealth sector, formulating strategic deal models, and cultivating substantial, complex partnerships with major financial institutions.
Key responsibilities include: identifying and capitalizing on new business prospects to drive revenue; engaging and influencing senior leadership at Fortune 500 firms with executive presence and credibility; leading negotiations throughout multi-year contract sales cycles; fostering industry connections for strategic collaboration; and collaborating with Product and Marketing teams to develop holistic solutions. You'll work core hours aligned with your assigned territory (Chicago, Dallas, Houston, or broader Midwest/South) and travel approximately 15% across the US.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of successful SaaS sales experience, preferably into financial or insurance institutions; 3+ years of hands-on business development (value creation, contract negotiation, funnel management); proficiency with MEDDIC/MEDDPIC sales methodology; ability to confidently present to and influence C-level executives at Fortune 500 firms; demonstrated success navigating complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and closing high six-figure ACV agreements; proven track record of surpassing quotas in high-growth environments.
Preferred: prior exposure to insurance and wealth organizations; strong understanding of agents' needs and pain points; familiarity with Salesforce and Gmail. General familiarity with US insurance and wealth products/services is a plus; deep domain expertise is not required and can be developed on the job.
Compensation: $160,000 base salary plus uncapped annual variable based on goal attainment, equity, and comprehensive benefits including premium healthcare, paid time off, flexible parental leave, 401(k) with up to 4% employer match, and competitive stock options.
