Salary: USD 70,642.4 - 105,963.6 / annual
Precision Medicine Group seeks a Strategic Account Associate to support and manage strategic client accounts in medical communications. You will partner closely with Strategic Account Managers and Directors, contributing to strategic planning, day-to-day client communications, and ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with client goals.
Key responsibilities include serving as a day-to-day client contact on assigned accounts, developing a strong understanding of clients' business goals and strategic priorities, and translating client vision into actionable plans and high-quality deliverables. You will contribute to annual strategic and tactical plans, brand plans, and project-level planning while building trust with clients through strong communication, responsiveness, and strategic thinking.
On the account and business management side, you will support scoping of work, development of budgets, and ongoing management of account finances. You will monitor budgets and team efficiency to ensure work is delivered within scope, assist with forecasting planned work and resources, and identify potential growth opportunities and new business ideas.
You will partner with program management to develop project briefs and lead or support kickoff meetings, coordinate internal teams to ensure alignment on strategy and timelines, and support quality of deliverables by reviewing for accuracy before client delivery. You will participate in and at times lead client meetings, status calls, and planning calls with healthcare professionals, and help manage workload and prioritization to keep projects moving.
Additional responsibilities include staying current on industry trends, scientific developments, and competitive landscapes relevant to clients, continuously building strategic, financial, and client management skills, and acting as a strong ambassador for Precision Medicine Group internally and externally. You may also assist with preparation of annual strategic/tactical plans, address ad hoc client requests, review and finalize materials for distribution, and travel to attend live meetings with clients or healthcare practitioners as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required
- At least 1 year of account management experience within medical communications or related industry
- Preferred: Advanced degree (PhD, MD, or PharmD) in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or advanced degree in management, marketing, or business
- PowerPoint design proficiency
- Strong strategic and analytical background
- Strong desire to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
