Rothy's is seeking a Store Planner to join the Planning & Distribution team. This role focuses on ensuring optimal product placement and inventory management across all retail locations. You'll develop and maintain store-level assortment and allocation strategies that balance customer demand, inventory flow, and sales goals. Working closely with Retail leadership, Merchandise Planning, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, and Operations teams, you'll translate seasonal buys into store-specific plans that reflect regional nuances and local market trends.
Key responsibilities include analyzing sell-through rates, inventory turn, and in-stock rates to identify optimization opportunities. You'll build and refine store tiering models based on customer profiles, store formats, and historical performance data. The role requires managing replenishment strategies to ensure right-time, right-place product delivery and presenting data-driven findings to cross-functional partners. You'll also support new store openings and closures with tailored assortment and inventory strategies, and continuously look for ways to improve planning processes and reporting as the store fleet grows.
The ideal candidate is a natural collaborator with 4+ years of retail planning, allocation, or related analytical experience, preferably in footwear, apparel, or consumer products. You'll need advanced Excel proficiency, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience partnering with store operations teams. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain, or related field (or equivalent experience) is required. You're detail-oriented, comfortable balancing multiple priorities, and skilled at translating complex data into actionable recommendations. The role offers generous PTO, 401k matching, comprehensive health plans, mental health benefits, wellness reimbursement, dog-friendly offices, and an employee discount program.
