Salary: EUR 52,000 - 65,000 / annual
Cloudflare is seeking an experienced Statutory Manager to oversee financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and audit leadership for legal entities in the Iberia region. This is a strategic role requiring advanced technical accounting expertise and independent judgment to resolve complex, precedent-setting financial issues.
Key responsibilities include: reviewing and signing off on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, P&L, cash flow); leading external audits and resolving highly complex compliance matters with minimal precedent; coordinating cross-functionally with global legal, tax, and regional business units to ensure timely, accurate country filings; and driving strategic improvements to financial systems (Oracle/NetSuite) through automation and advanced analytics tools including AI.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of progressive accounting and tax compliance experience in a multinational corporate environment, with proven expertise as a primary reviewer for audited statutory financial statements. You must demonstrate the ability to analyze unique business issues, evaluate intangibles, and independently formulate creative solutions to ambiguous scenarios. Professional fluency in Spanish and English is required.
Nice-to-have qualifications include relevant professional certifications (CPA, Chartered Accountant, ACCA) and proficiency with Oracle and NetSuite systems.
