OneTrust is seeking a Staff Solutions Architect with deep expertise in AI Governance, Responsible AI, and Enterprise AI Adoption to join the R&D and Customer Engineering team. This is a strategic, customer-facing role focused on leading AI Governance initiatives within the Design Partner Program, serving as a bridge between customers, product management, engineering, and executive leadership.
In this role, you will work directly with AI leaders, governance teams, privacy officers, legal stakeholders, and engineering organizations to understand emerging AI risks, adoption barriers, governance requirements, and business objectives. Your mission is to transform these insights into product strategy, platform capabilities, and roadmap investments that shape OneTrust's AI Governance portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define the AI Governance solution vision by translating strategic customer requirements, emerging regulations, and market needs into scalable platform capabilities and roadmap priorities
- Serve as the primary technical and domain advisor for Design Partner customers, leading discovery sessions, architecture workshops, solution reviews, and technical assessments
- Bridge customer needs with Product Management and Engineering by turning complex business objectives and implementation gaps into reusable product investments and reference solutions
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient solution patterns across AI inventories, AI assessments, AI risk management, governance workflows, model oversight, policy management, and compliance operations
- Define integration and implementation approaches including APIs, data flows, governance controls, and operational workflows
- Influence product and engineering direction through customer insight, technical feasibility analysis, and hands-on solution design
- Act as the voice of the customer in roadmap planning and cross-functional prioritization
- Drive measurable customer outcomes tied to AI governance maturity, compliance readiness, risk reduction, and operational efficiency
- Establish best practices, reference architectures, and reusable implementation patterns for enterprise-scale responsible AI adoption
- Represent OneTrust as a thought leader on AI governance frameworks and responsible AI principles
You are a strategic and customer-facing technical leader who operates at the intersection of product strategy, solution architecture, and AI governance domain expertise. You are comfortable engaging with executives, architects, engineers, product leaders, legal stakeholders, privacy teams, and governance leaders. You are deeply technical while able to translate architectural tradeoffs and governance complexity into clear business outcomes. You are a systems thinker who designs for scalability, reuse, security, resilience, and long-term platform maintainability. You thrive in ambiguity and can balance immediate customer needs with broader platform strategy. You are customer-obsessed, influential without direct authority, and passionate about responsible AI and emerging AI regulations.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, solutions consulting, technical product leadership, or strategic customer-facing roles in enterprise SaaS environments
- Significant experience in AI Governance, Responsible AI, AI Risk Management, Privacy, Security, Compliance, Data Governance, or related governance domains
- Proven experience working directly with enterprise customers to define requirements, lead discovery, shape technical strategy, and drive adoption
- Demonstrated ability to translate regulatory requirements and governance frameworks into technical solutions and implementation strategies
