Form Energy is hiring a Staff Project Manager to lead the deployment and execution of utility-scale iron-air battery storage projects. This role sits within the Project Engineering team under Commercial Operations and is critical to scaling Form's breakthrough multi-day energy storage technology across the United States.
You will own end-to-end project management responsibility, including budget tracking, schedule management, scope control, and change management. You'll serve as the primary Form Energy contact for customers and EPC partners, managing all outward communication on contractual, technical, and strategic matters. Your responsibilities include tracking project milestones, communicating design and performance status, identifying and mitigating project risks, and establishing robust project reporting systems.
Internally, you'll collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics teams. You'll support the business development team in contract structuring, negotiations, and deal evaluations. You'll also manage vendor and contractor relationships from procurement through delivery and payment, with travel to client and project sites up to 30% of the time.
Form Energy has signed contracts with leading US electric utilities and is ramping production at its first high-volume manufacturing facility in West Virginia. This is a hybrid role requiring 3+ days per week onsite in Berkeley, CA. Relocation assistance is available.
