Babylist is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own the Wishlist product end-to-end—a new offering that extends the Babylist experience beyond the newborn phase into early childhood gift-giving for birthdays, holidays, and special occasions. This is a general manager role with full accountability for customer experience and business outcomes. You will own the complete product lifecycle: vision, roadmap, strategy, and execution. The role sits within Babylist's consumer growth and LTV organization, reporting to the Senior Director of Product. You'll serve a multi-sided marketplace of parents, gift-givers, and family members, with access to nearly one million expectant parents annually—an audience most founders spend years acquiring. Key responsibilities include defining and executing the roadmap from MVP to a scalable, multi-sided gifting platform; discovering customer needs across parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and gift-givers; engaging users during critical moments (birthdays, holidays, seasonal occasions); setting outcome metrics and owning results; and partnering closely with engineering and design to run experiments and iterate rapidly. You'll be expected to model AI-native product development practices, using AI daily to move faster and improve output. The role requires hands-on capability with SQL, Figma, and AI-assisted prototyping to test ideas and unblock decisions, while knowing when to delegate to specialists. This is a net-new line of business with no prior PM, meaning you'll establish the roadmap, team structure, and definition of success. There's a clear path to real revenue, and you'll be building something strategically important to Babylist's long-term business. The ideal candidate has shipped a product from 0 to 1, thinks like a GM about unit economics and business levers, is obsessed with customer feedback, defaults to action in ambiguity, and learns visibly and adapts.
