Relativity Space is building Terran R, a commercial rocket vehicle designed to deliver payloads to orbit. The Terrestrial Software team is responsible for the digital backbone of the company's operations—from manufacturing automation to launch operations and eventually Mars-based production. As Staff Product Manager for Software, you will define the product vision, strategic roadmap, and technical strategy for enterprise software applications used across Relativity. This is a high-impact role that shapes how the entire organization operates. Key responsibilities include: • Define and communicate product vision and multi-year technical strategy for software applications spanning manufacturing, supply chain, finance, test, and launch operations • Balance decisions between off-the-shelf solutions and custom-built features, ensuring seamless integration and scalability across the organization • Conduct deep user research across manufacturing, supply chain, accounting, finance, test, and launch teams to understand operational challenges and priorities • Partner closely with software engineering leadership to align technical architecture with product strategy and build world-class internal tools • Translate user needs into actionable product insights, prioritize development backlogs, and establish clear success metrics • Own end-to-end delivery of software applications, from conception through deployment and iteration • Drive cross-functional collaboration across design, materials, manufacturing, and test teams This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment where software directly enables hardware innovation. You'll work at the intersection of product strategy, technical excellence, and operational impact—building systems that accelerate rocket development and manufacturing.
