Zocdoc is a healthcare marketplace that empowers patients to find and book in-person or virtual care across all 50 states, 200+ specialties, and 12,000+ insurance plans. As Staff Product Manager for Payments within the Practice Solutions business unit, you will own critical parts of the payments and revenue cycle experience for healthcare practices. You will define and build products that help practices manage the financial side of patient care, including how they understand patient responsibility, collect payments, reconcile transactions, and connect payment activity to claims and remittance data. This is a zero-to-one product leadership role where you will identify unmet customer needs, develop product strategy, and build new capabilities from the ground up. Your day-to-day involves driving cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, operations, and go-to-market teams. You will develop deep understanding of financial workflows and pain points through customer research and data analysis, define long-term product vision and strategy for payments, and execute with ownership at scale. You will work across complex healthcare workflows involving patients, providers, payors, clearinghouses, and technology partners. Success requires 6+ years of B2B product management experience with meaningful healthcare insurance product experience, including familiarity with healthcare claims and remittance workflows (835 and 837 files). You should have startup or early-stage company experience with demonstrated ability to operate with high ownership, speed, and ambiguity. A track record of taking complex products from zero to one—from identifying customer problems through strategy, validation, launch, and iteration—is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, data-driven mindset, and an action-oriented, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality are required. The role offers a flexible hybrid work environment at Zocdoc's Soho location, unlimited vacation, 100% paid employee health benefits, commuter benefits, 401(k) with employer match, corporate wellness program, and sabbatical leave for employees with 5+ years tenure.
