Traba is building an AI operating layer for the industrial supply chain, starting with contingent labor in manufacturing and logistics. The company matches and deploys workers into warehouses and distribution centers, leveraging proprietary data from millions of shifts and deep enterprise relationships. Backed by Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, and General Catalyst.
As Staff Product Manager for Marketplace, you will own and evolve the staffing product at the center of Traba's two-sided marketplace. You'll work across both supply (workers) and demand (enterprise customers running distribution centers and manufacturing lines), collaborating with software engineers, product designers, data analysts, and operations teams to design and ship practical solutions into industrial facilities. This role reports directly to the VP of Product.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architecting and stewarding product strategy across critical staffing and marketplace workflows
- Solving complex marketplace problems by balancing customer needs, operational realities, and business outcomes
- Writing detailed product requirements and partnering closely with engineering to execute solutions
- Building systems that improve marketplace liquidity, fulfillment, matching quality, and operational efficiency
- Using data to uncover patterns and answer critical marketplace and customer questions
- Translating operational complexity into scalable product systems
- Scaling operations through smart internal tooling and technical solutions
- Launching and iterating products across customers, regions, and operational environments
- Communicating complex ideas from systems and workflows to operational models and product strategy
- Socializing work across all levels and departments while synthesizing diverse stakeholder feedback
The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, spending time on-site with both customers and workers. You are AI-native, having changed how you work because of AI—prototyping before specs, checking code into production, building internal agents for research. You have deep marketplace experience with real supply-demand dynamics and operational complexity. You've built enterprise B2B products for complex customers with multiple stakeholders, long sales cycles, and operational rollout challenges. You think from first principles, understand systems and constraints deeply, and have built operational products or internal tools that powered real businesses. You are a builder with a scrappy mentality, moving quickly through ambiguity, and you work seamlessly across product, design, engineering, data, operations, sales, and leadership.
Requirements:
- 7–10 years of experience as a Product Manager
- Evidence of shipping products that materially moved business outcomes
- Strong experience in two-sided marketplaces with real supply and demand dynamics
- Experience building enterprise products with multi-stakeholder customers and complex operational environments
- Experience building internal operational tooling or systems that supported real business execution
- Strong technical fluency and ability to work deeply with engineering teams
- Experience operating in startup environments where speed and ownership matter
- Desire to work at a startup and cover an exceptionally wide surface area
- Strong work ethic and desire to build a category-defining company
