Zocdoc is a healthcare marketplace platform that empowers patients by making it easy to find and book in-person or virtual care across all 50 states, 200+ specialties, and 12,000+ insurance plans. As a Staff Product Manager on the consumer marketplace team, you will play a critical role in accelerating Zocdoc's mission to transform healthcare by giving patients market power and choice.
In this role, you will develop deep empathy for patient needs through research and cross-functional collaboration with Design, Trust & Safety, Operations, Finance, UXR, and Product Marketing teams. You'll build long-term vision and strategy aligned with company priorities, focusing on helping patients access their coverage easily, find in-network care, and benefit from Zocdoc's In-network Guarantee.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing patient-centric strategies, building comprehensive product vision, driving execution at scale across complex healthcare and insurance domains, and ensuring alignment between engineering, design, operations, and go-to-market partners. You'll roll up your sleeves to solve ambiguous problems and deliver crawl/walk/run solutions in a fast-moving environment.
You bring 6+ years of product management experience, ideally with B2C, marketplace, and/or insurance products. You excel at communication and storytelling, think data-driven, and have strong analytical problem-solving skills. Experience with SQL, Redshift, Amplitude, Looker, or Salesforce is a plus. You thrive in ambiguity, take action, and maintain perspective with humor. You're personally motivated by improving healthcare and understand the complexity of the health insurance system.
Zocdoc offers a hybrid work environment at their Soho location, unlimited vacation, 100% paid employee health benefits, 401(k) matching, wellness programs, sabbatical leave (5+ years), competitive parental leave, catered lunch daily, and employee resource groups.
