AeroVect is a Series A autonomous vehicle company transforming ground handling operations for airlines and airport service providers globally. The Staff Product Manager for Autonomous Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) Service will define strategy, roadmap, and product requirements for a safety-critical autonomous system that redefines how flagship airlines and airports operate day-to-day. This is a senior product leadership role with dual accountability: owning the top-level AGSE Service product strategy spanning autonomous driving capabilities, fleet operations, and evaluation infrastructure, while also leading and mentoring a team of Product Managers across product verticals. You will report to the Director of Safety, Systems, and Product and set direction for the product organization. Key responsibilities include: - Defining and owning the AGSE Service product strategy and roadmap - Driving clarity on what the company is building, why, and by when across commercial, engineering, and operations teams - Building the measurement foundation for continuous improvement, including KPIs for capability, performance, and reliability - Partnering with Systems Engineering to decompose product needs into system requirements, test plans, and acceptance criteria - Participating in system design discussions across Autonomy, Infrastructure, and Hardware to ensure technical architectures serve product and operational goals - Leading cross-functional teams and making informed trade-off decisions aligned with business goals and technical feasibility - Communicating product vision and status to senior leadership, customers, engineering, operations, sales, and marketing - Leading and developing a team of PMs, establishing product development frameworks and best practices - Owning the product relationship with airline and airport customers, including SOWs and SLAs - Translating customer needs and business opportunities into prioritized, data-driven product investments You will engage directly with enterprise and operational customers to conduct discovery, translate needs into requirements, and manage relationships. This role requires navigating a safety-critical, real-time performance environment where reliability is non-negotiable. REQUIREMENTS: - BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience) - 5+ years of Product Management experience owning multi-system, technically complex products end-to-end - Experience building and shipping products in environments where safety, reliability, and real-time performance are non-negotiable - Proven ability to ship 0→1 products in a fast-paced environment - Demonstrated experience engaging directly with enterprise or operational customers—conducting discovery, translating needs into requirements, and managing relationships - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making - Track record of leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority - Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to translate between technical depth and executive clarity - Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously PREFERRED: - MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field - 7+ years of Product Management experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or safety-critical systems - 2+ years of experience leading Product Management teams - Experience engaging with regulatory stakeholders and navigating compliance requirements for autonomous systems - Strong understanding of software development, systems architecture, and data pipelines - Experience with V&V processes and working with Safety + Systems Engineering teams - Ability to engage substantively in technical design discussions and push back on engineering decisions with product rationale - Familiarity with the airside driving environment at major global airports
