As Senior Product Manager for Crypto, you will own end-to-end execution of key features and user flows within the customer-facing crypto product suite, including trading, staking, and on-chain deposits and withdrawals. You will work autonomously to shape regulated crypto products across Europe under frameworks like MICA (Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation).
Key responsibilities include:
- Take complete ownership of a dedicated product area from discovery through release and ongoing iteration
- Conduct comprehensive product discovery to frame problems, define hypotheses, and validate solutions with users and data before engineering commitment
- Write clear, structured product requirements and partner with designers on user flows to enable unambiguous execution by engineering and compliance teams
- Define tracking events and success metrics for every feature to measure impact and guide data-driven iterations
- Act as the accountable owner by managing cross-functional trade-offs, leading escalations, and staying hands-on during critical incidents
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Compliance, and Legal to translate complex regulatory and technical requirements into seamless retail experiences
You will work in a hybrid model with flexibility to work from Vienna or other European locations, plus 25 additional days per year to work from a city or country of your choice. The role offers competitive total compensation aligned with Bitpanda's pay-for-impact policy, including stock options.
Requirements:
- Meaningful product management experience building customer-facing products at a crypto, trading, or fintech company
- Strong, genuine passion for crypto, blockchain, or trading beyond day-to-day work
- Strong UX sense and proven track record running end-to-end product discovery while writing clear product requirements
- Exceptional reliability and dedication to taking true ownership of scope, including stepping in during critical issues regardless of timing
- Hands-on experience defining tracking events and using data to measure feature impact; SQL skills or familiarity with EU crypto frameworks preferred
