AeroVect is a Series A autonomous systems company transforming ground handling operations for airlines and airport service providers globally. The Staff Product Manager for Autonomous Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) Service will define strategy, roadmap, and product requirements for a safety-critical autonomous system that redefines how flagship airlines and airports operate day-to-day. Reporting to the Director of Safety, Systems, and Product, you will set direction for the product organization with purview spanning autonomous driving capabilities, fleet operations, and evaluation infrastructure. You will lead a team of Product Managers owning distinct product verticals, establishing best practices for autonomy product development, and mentoring them to grow their product craft. Key responsibilities include: - Define and own the AGSE Service product strategy and top-level roadmap spanning autonomous driving, fleet operations, and evaluation infrastructure. Drive clarity on what the company is building, why, and by when across commercial, engineering, and operations teams. - Build the measurement foundation for continuous improvement by defining KPIs across capability, performance, and reliability, and partnering with cross-functional teams to develop data collection and analysis pipelines supporting development, verification & validation, and continuous improvement. - Drive technical execution across the safety-critical autonomous system by partnering with Systems Engineering to decompose product needs into system requirements and test plans, participating in system design discussions, making informed trade-off decisions with engineering leadership, and working with Program Management to track commitments and surface blockers early. - Provide cross-functional leadership by communicating product vision and status to senior leadership, customers, engineering, operations, sales, and marketing. Lead and develop the PMT team, establish product development frameworks, and raise the bar for how the organization defines requirements and sets priorities. - Lead customer engagement and commercial execution by owning product relationships with airline and airport customers, establishing Statements of Work and Service Level Agreements, and translating customer and operator needs into prioritized, data-driven product investments. REQUIREMENTS: - BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience) - 5+ years of Product Management experience owning multi-system, technically complex products end-to-end - Experience building and shipping products where safety, reliability, and real-time performance are non-negotiable - Proven ability to ship 0→1 products in fast-paced environments - Demonstrated experience engaging directly with enterprise or operational customers: conducting discovery, translating needs into requirements, managing relationships - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven decision-making approach - Track record of leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority - Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to translate between technical depth and executive clarity - Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously PREFERRED: - MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field - 7+ years of Product Management experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or safety-critical systems - 2+ years of experience leading Product Management teams - Experience engaging with regulatory stakeholders and navigating compliance requirements for autonomous systems - Strong understanding of software development, systems architecture, and data pipelines - Experience with V&V processes and working with Safety + Systems Engineering teams - Ability to engage substantively in technical design discussions and push back on engineering decisions with product rationale - Familiarity with the airside driving environment at major global airports
