Constructor powers product search and discovery for some of the largest retailers in the world, serving billions of requests weekly. The company differentiates by focusing on metrics over features and reinventing search and discovery as a machine learning challenge with the goal of improving revenue and business outcomes. Constructor is approximately doubling year-over-year and serves customers across every eCommerce vertical. You will lead the next chapter of Constructor as a systems-minded, AI-native Staff Product Manager focused on Agentic Discovery. This is a high-leverage, high-ambiguity role with two core mandates: (1) help agentic experiences scale from promising experiments into a repeatable, reliable engine, and (2) give business teams the same transparency and control over agentic experiences that they have over traditional search. You'll start by owning the business tooling and dashboards for agentic discovery—the experiences that let business teams see what agents are doing, why, and to what effect. Over time, your mandate expands to setting direction for the entire Agentic Discovery chapter: on-site agentic experiences, offsite/agentic surfaces, integrations, and the agentic tooling underneath. This is a Staff role with a clear path to Director as you take on chapter-wide leadership. Key responsibilities include: owning business impact and driving measurable lift in usage, conversion, revenue, and engagement across agentic experiences; building dashboards and tooling that give business teams transparency and control; scaling experimentation from one-off projects into repeatable, scalable launch processes; setting multi-quarter direction for Agentic Discovery tied to customer business outcomes; leading the business-tooling and dashboard experience strategy and roadmap; uniting on-site, offsite, and integration surfaces behind one definition of success; partnering with ML and engineering to turn agentic and LLM-powered experiences from idea to production; defining and instrumenting core metrics; and treating explainability, control, and guardrails as first-class requirements. Within your first year, success looks like: shipping a dashboard and tooling experience adopted by internal teams and customers; driving measurable lift in usage and business impact across multiple customers; standing up a repeatable process for launching and experimenting with new agentic interfaces; defining core metrics for agentic discovery; and beginning to unite teams behind one coherent chapter direction. REQUIREMENTS: - Extensive product management experience (typically 8+ years) in AI/ML, agentic, search, or discovery products, including time operating at a senior or staff level - Track record of moving business metrics at scale (usage, conversion, revenue, engagement), not just shipping features, and of setting strategy across multiple teams - Experience building for business users/operators (merchandisers, category managers, or similar), especially tooling, dashboards, and controls - Strong AI/ML/LLM product depth; understands how agentic and LLM-powered experiences work and can reason about tradeoffs (quality, latency, cost, reliability) - Comfort with zero-to-one ambiguity and scaling; able to experiment on brand-new interfaces and build repeatable processes - Rigorous, measurement-first mindset that ties every experience back to usage and business outcomes - Excellent cross-functional leadership; able to align teams with different goals behind shared success definitions, working with ML, engineering, design, and go-to-market - Strong instinct for trust; treats transparency, control, and guardrails as core to agentic experience success - Comfort setting direction where none exists and leading through clarity and credibility rather than org chart
