Auth0 (part of Okta) is hiring a Staff Product Designer to lead design for Agent Experience (AX) and Growth on the India Design Team. This is a foundational design hire tasked with defining how AI agents authenticate, sign up, and operate autonomously—a largely headless, invisible-UI world where the "user" is often code acting with intent.
You'll own two interconnected design frontiers:
**Agent Experience (AX):** Shape Auth0's agentic vision from scratch alongside PMs and engineers. Define interaction models for agent signup, execution, and backend operations. Design the human control layer—trust, transparency, audit trails—so developers can orchestrate agents safely. Establish patterns and protocols others adopt. Own the full lifecycle from definition through validation and iteration.
**Growth & Onboarding:** Rethink self-service signup and onboarding for the AI-powered developer whose workflows are increasingly automated. Own subscription, pricing, and packaging strategy end-to-end. Define how design impact is measured (Pendo, Heap, etc.) and lead research to drive action. Simplify high-leverage developer workflows into elegant experiences.
**Craft & Influence:** Mentor designers on the global team. Translate AI and technical concepts into practical guidance for PMs and engineers. Represent design in roadmap discussions. Raise the craft bar across the organization.
You bring 10+ years of human-centered product design with a portfolio demonstrating strategic ownership and strong craft. You're a self-starter comfortable designing for headless, low-UI, API-first surfaces. Experience designing for AI agents or agentic systems is highly valued. You have a track record owning onboarding and self-service experiences at scale, backed by PLG and conversion metrics fluency. You thrive in ambiguity, technical conversations, and fast-moving, undefined team settings. You're a multiplier who elevates others and builds alignment without formal authority. An engineering or front-end background is a bonus.
