Salary: USD 250,000 - 325,000 / annual
StubHub is seeking a Staff Product Designer to shape user experience strategy and execution across multiple products. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on establishing shared design approaches, reusable solutions, and clear guidance that drives consistent outcomes across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
• Define and maintain design systems, patterns, and standards to ensure consistency and scalability across digital products
• Connect UX considerations with broader product and business goals by translating high-level needs into experience principles and strategic focus areas
• Support large, multi-part design efforts by coordinating timing, dependencies, and scope across related work streams
• Build and maintain shared design resources including internal tools, libraries, and prototyping setups that enable efficient collaboration
• Evaluate, integrate, and build AI-powered design tools and workflows to accelerate design-to-development velocity
• Provide design feedback and guidance to other designers through critiques and collaborative sessions, supporting skill development and design quality
• Work with partners to define success metrics for UX using product signals, testing results, and observed user behavior
• Contribute to product planning by helping teams understand UX impact of priorities, sequencing, and tradeoffs
• Review work across products to improve usability, accessibility, and consistency
• Explore and adopt new tools and workflows, including AI-supported design and research tools, to reduce repetitive effort
Required experience: 5+ years designing user experiences across multiple platforms (desktop web, mobile iOS/Android); 5+ years leveraging quantitative and qualitative research methods; 5+ years enhancing and iterating on existing digital products; 5+ years collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and stakeholders; 5+ years defining and applying design systems; 5+ years guiding and providing design feedback to other designers; 3+ years with design tools (Figma, Sketch) and AI-assisted development tools (Cursor); 2+ years evaluating and integrating AI-powered design tools and workflows.
Education: Bachelor's degree in HCI, Interaction Design, UX Design, or related field (or 7 years equivalent professional experience).
Location: 3 World Trade Center, 175 Greenwich Street, 59th Floor, New York, NY. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
