SecurityScorecard is the global leader in cybersecurity ratings, continuously rating over 12 million companies across 64 countries. The company's patented technology is used by 25,000+ organizations for self-monitoring, third-party risk management, board reporting, and cyber insurance underwriting. You will join the Product Design team as a Staff Product Designer, owning the end-to-end design of complex, AI-powered cyber risk workflows. Your focus will be third-party risk assessments, automated security questionnaires, and continuous monitoring—all deeply technical, high-stakes features in a B2B SaaS platform environment.
Key responsibilities include: designing high-complexity workflows grounded in evidence from usability testing and product analytics (FullStory, Pendo); systematically designing for enterprise constraints like role-based access control, multi-tenant environments, and complex data filtering; prototyping directly against the codebase and design system using AI tools like Claude to produce interactive, grounded prototypes rather than disconnected concepts; leveraging AI throughout your design process to synthesize research, explore edge cases, and validate prototypes; contributing to the design system to ensure durable patterns and machine readability for AI prototyping at scale, with WCAG 2.2 accessibility as default; raising the product design team's AI fluency through collaborative workshops; and partnering cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to turn ambiguous briefs into defensible solutions.
You will work in a high-craft environment where the team is motivated by getting things right, not just getting them done. The culture emphasizes growth mindset, elevating teammates, humility, and moving fast between prototypes with continuous AI-driven iteration.
**Requirements:**
- 7+ years of product design experience, with at least 3+ years designing B2B SaaS experiences in a platform environment (B2C background does not translate)
- Proven portfolio demonstrating strong handling of high-complexity UI challenges such as multi-dimensional data, analytics dashboarding, permissions management, or deep system nesting; track record of turning ambiguous problems into shipped work without heavy oversight
- Demonstrated, hands-on use of AI in your own design practice, including prompting AI tooling such as Claude to build interactive prototypes in code grounded in an existing codebase and design system; general familiarity with AI tools is insufficient—real practitioner experience required
- Demonstrated experience working with and contributing to design systems
- Strong fluency with Figma and related AI-assisted design tooling
- Clear understanding of cognitive load, decision-making frameworks, and how to design interfaces that reduce user error in high-stakes security environments
- Hands-on experience integrating usability testing, product analytics, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) into your process by default
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with cybersecurity, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), or Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
- Experience designing AI-enabled features that earn user trust, fail gracefully when the model is wrong, and keep users in control of the outcome
- Hands-on front-end capability beyond prototyping; experience writing HTML, CSS, and component code that shipped; ability to contribute to a design system in the repo, not just in Figma
