Redesign Health is a venture and applied technology firm building next-generation healthcare companies. Since 2018, the firm and its portfolio have touched 15+ million patients, raised $1.5B+ from premier investors, and built partnerships with marquee healthcare organizations globally. Headquarters in New York with offices in Bengaluru, Los Angeles, and Riyadh. The technology practice combines a frontier applied AI lab with deep healthtech investing expertise. The team includes former founders, architects, and research scientists who have built systems serving hundreds of millions of users and running inside NASA, CIA, and 90% of Fortune 500 companies. As Staff Product Designer, you will discover, design, and build agentic products powering Redesign's most critical decisions: founders backed, concepts pursued, talent hired, investors engaged, and healthcare partners supported. This is a senior individual-contributor role requiring deep user empathy, elegant product thinking, and hands-on frontend development. Responsibilities include: embedding with investment, talent, and global development teams to understand complex workflows; running user research (interviews, observation, synthesis) to uncover where tools fail; translating insights into opinionated product strategy; designing interfaces for humans and AI agents; building working frontends using Claude, Claude Code, and modern AI tools rather than just creating specs; owning product strategy, prioritization, and measurement for workflows you take on; and raising the bar across the firm by demonstrating AI-native product design excellence. You will own the full arc from research through shipping, working alongside engineers who handle backend and heavier technical lifting. You lead through craft and influence rather than headcount, teaching the organization what great AI-native design looks like and contributing reusable patterns to core systems. Required: 10+ years designing and shipping software products with substantial time owning user research. You are equally comfortable running discovery interviews, synthesizing findings, and working in design tools. Bonus: founding experience or building products that changed team/company trajectory. The firm values superlative peer-relative performance, evidence of work in high-talent environments, broad scope, rapid progression, and impact on field trajectory.
