Parachute Health is a digital ordering platform transforming post-acute care by connecting health systems, health plans, and suppliers to deliver medical equipment and supplies to patients at home. The company has connected 300,000+ clinicians and 3,000+ supplier locations across all 50 states, serving 15M+ patients.
As Staff Product Designer, you'll own end-to-end UX for the admin workflow layer on the core Supplier experience team. This role focuses on the tools suppliers use to manage their teams on Parachute, with initial emphasis on workflow configuration and integrations. Order management is a top R&D priority, and you'll work in an emerging, loosely-defined problem space requiring high craft standards.
Key responsibilities include:
**Strategic Design Leadership & Execution**: Own end-to-end UX for admin workflow setup and integrations within supplier order management. Establish reusable, documented design systems and patterns (how rules are expressed, integration states communicated, workflows configured) rather than shipping isolated features. Lead discovery in undefined territory including routing/triage strategy, ERP integration capabilities, and adoption success metrics. Transform your discovery approach (prototype-first exploration, field research cadence, success-metric definition) into repeatable practices other teams adopt. Iterate designs based on stakeholder feedback and validation testing.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with internal stakeholders in operations and sales, alongside designers, product managers, and engineers. Lead design-led activities like workshops, journey mapping, and prototyping to understand the problem space and define product strategy. Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate, high-quality implementation.
**Craft & Culture Building**: Raise the bar through critique, pattern stewardship, and mentorship on shared surfaces. Foster a growth-oriented design culture by advocating for design excellence, sharing critique, and receiving feedback. Conduct in-person customer research and validation approximately quarterly.
Required qualifications include end-to-end human-centered design expertise spanning discovery through implementation for complex B2B products; experience designing workflow management, CRM, or data-centric products with configuration, rules, and automations; and technical acumen to understand API design and translate technical insights into user-centered solutions.
