Lovable is seeking an exceptional Staff/Principal Design Engineer to own and elevate the company's landing pages and web experiences. You'll combine strong frontend engineering fundamentals with a sharp eye for craft and interaction design, working closely with design and marketing teams to build world-class web content.
In this role, you'll build delightful landing pages with advanced web interactions, implement complex interactions in React/TypeScript with obsessive attention to performance and cross-browser consistency, and drive front-end execution by pioneering new interaction patterns and micro-animations. You'll collaborate with marketing to share Lovable's story with the world, explore and iterate on visual designs with designers, and build reusable components that enhance consistency while enabling creativity across product and marketing.
You'll work with a modern tech stack including React, Tailwind, Golang, Rust, Cloudflare, GCP, AWS, and various LLM providers. The role requires translating scrappy explorations into production-ready experiences and pushing the boundaries of the web with technologies like WebGL.
