Kalepa is building professional-grade AI systems for the insurance industry, automating underwriting, claims, pricing, and operations workflows. As a Staff Platform Engineer on the Infrastructure team, you will own the infrastructure and tooling that powers Kalepa's core platform. Your responsibilities include maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines, automating operational workflows, ensuring security and compliance with industry standards, and optimizing infrastructure performance. You'll work on systems that directly enable the company's AI products to scale reliably in production.
This is a senior individual contributor role with company-wide technical scope. You'll have the opportunity to shape infrastructure decisions that impact the entire engineering organization and influence how the platform scales to support Kalepa's growth. The role is based in New York with hybrid flexibility and offers competitive compensation of $240k–$300k USD annually.
