Shield AI, a venture-backed defense-tech company, is seeking a Staff Business Systems Analyst to lead the Procure to Pay (P2P) end-to-end implementation and serve as the strategic owner of P2P processes and systems. This is a dual-mandate role combining a major Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation project with ongoing finance systems strategy and optimization. In the ERP implementation phase, you will act as the Business Lead for the full P2P lifecycle—from requirements gathering and process design through system configuration, UAT, data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare. You'll lead cross-functional workshops to document current-state Finance processes and define future-state workflows within Oracle Fusion Cloud, translating outputs into functional specifications for Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Expenses, Cash Management, and Supplier Management modules. You'll oversee data migration strategy and validation for all financial master data, work closely with the systems integration vendor to hold them accountable to scope and timelines, and lead functional-level status reporting on milestones and risks. You'll also execute change management and training plans, build a network of super users and process champions, and drive post-implementation activities including hypercare support, enhancement prioritization, and quarterly Oracle Cloud update readiness. On the ongoing strategy side, you'll serve as the strategic owner for all P2P processes and systems, partnering with Finance leaders and IT to support Oracle Fusion Cloud system architecture, integration health (including Oracle Integration Cloud interfaces), and a forward-looking technology roadmap. You'll perform gap assessments, formulate investment proposals for future projects, and develop multi-year capability roadmaps. You'll identify and implement process automation and standardization opportunities across the Finance ecosystem, lead ongoing process optimization using Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and workflow automations, and partner with Internal Audit and IT Security to ensure SOX compliance and segregation-of-duties controls. You'll also provide first-level support to end users on Oracle Fusion Cloud and related applications, troubleshoot systems problems, work collaboratively with Accounting business groups (O2C, R2R, P2P) to solve business problems, and support development of master and transactional data using OTBI and BI Publisher reporting tools.
