Hims & Hers, a leading public health and wellness platform (NYSE: HIMS), is seeking a Staff Accountant, International to support its growing international operations. Reporting to the Manager of International Accounting, you will partner with the US-based accounting team and subsidiary operations in Australia to manage accounting entries, US GAAP consolidation, month-end close processes, and local GAAP adjustments. This role is central to ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across all international markets.
Key responsibilities include supporting daily, weekly, and monthly US GAAP accounting tasks for foreign acquisitions; managing the month-end close process including account reconciliations, journal entries, and NetSuite consolidations; reviewing intercompany transactions and eliminations; assisting with statutory financial statement preparation and external auditor coordination; and supporting Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and key controls. You will also contribute to due diligence and integration for new market launches, drive process improvements and system enhancements, and develop strong cross-functional relationships with FP&A, Tax, Consolidations, Global Revenue, Inventory Accounting, and local accounting teams.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably from Big 4 public accounting, with a BA/BS in Accounting and CPA track progress. You should have foundational US GAAP knowledge (IFRS exposure preferred), hands-on month-end close and reconciliation experience, strong Excel proficiency, and familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus). You are detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
