Perplexity AI is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle hiring for engineering teams. You will partner closely with engineering leadership to build a best-in-class hiring experience, leveraging AI-augmented sourcing strategies to surface and attract top technical talent at scale.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies using AI tools to identify non-obvious candidates and move faster than the market. You'll manage the entire candidate experience from initial outreach through offer negotiation and close, using AI to sharpen every stage of the recruitment funnel. You'll build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and team dynamics, then analyze recruiting metrics to continuously refine processes and turn data into smarter hiring decisions.
You'll stay ahead of industry trends in AI recruiting tools and technical recruiting best practices, applying both operational excellence and storytelling skills to communicate the opportunity to candidates. This role requires mastery of AI-augmented recruiting workflows and a comprehensive understanding of the AI market and technology landscape.
You bring 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally in high-growth startups, with a proven track record of placing top-tier technical talent. You have hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement, and are fluent with various ATS platforms (Ashby preferred). You're data-driven, analytical, proactive, and thrive in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
