ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Staff Product Designer to lead design strategy and execution for strategic AI/ML products that help organizations work with complex data and AI systems. You'll operate at multiple levels—thinking strategically about product direction while staying hands-on with design work. These products are early-stage and evolving, meaning you'll help define foundational patterns and design languages rather than simply refining existing ones.
In this role, you will:
- Lead large, cross-product initiatives delivering world-class product experiences that influence product strategy and transform how people work globally
- Drive exceptional, innovative end-to-end user experiences, design languages, and frameworks across one or more domains or key strategic initiatives
- Provide strategic direction, vision, and leadership for large collaborative efforts with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, product management)
- Share knowledge and expertise across the company and externally to elevate colleagues, teams, and the design community of practice
- Advocate for design value and purpose, influencing product design processes across business units
ServiceNow's design team has an intentional seat at the table, collaborating closely with engineering and product from the start. The team comprises designers with varied backgrounds—design systems, visual, interaction, content, and product design.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant design experience
- Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving (using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's impact)
- Experience designing products or features for complex, interconnected data (analytics platforms, data visualization, enterprise data tools)
- Inspiring portfolio demonstrating exceptional, innovative product design solutions for end-to-end user journeys that satisfy user needs and business objectives
- Experience producing high-fidelity specifications for product design experiences, design languages, and frameworks across one or more domains or key strategic initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to advocate for design value and elevate colleagues, teams, and community of practice
- Influence skills and drive to continuously improve product design processes across business units and design teams
- Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications
- User experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web, or agency)
