ServiceNow is building a new Accounts Receivable Operations (ARO) product with the ambition to grow it into a $100M business. This is a Staff-level product management role leading the inbound strategy for ARO, combining AI-native capabilities with deep finance operations expertise.
You will own product strategy, priorities, and roadmap for the ARO product, working directly with customers (finance leaders, AR managers, collections teams) and closely with engineering, design, research, and platform teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Establish ARO as a strategic growth business for ServiceNow by defining product strategy and market positioning
- Partner with finance leaders and collections teams to understand challenges in collections, dispute resolution, and invoice-to-cash processes
- Define AI-native capabilities that automate routine tasks, prioritize work, and autonomously resolve cases while capturing organizational expertise
- Translate complex finance workflows into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Guide development through close collaboration with engineering, design, research, and platform teams
- Integrate customer discovery, usability studies, market analysis, and competitive insights into product decisions
- Validate solutions with early customers, guide pilots and adoption, and scale lessons learned to broader market
- Define and measure product success through customer outcomes: faster collections, reduced days sales outstanding, improved collector productivity, shorter dispute resolution times
- Communicate priorities and tradeoffs clearly, build consensus, and influence stakeholders across organizational boundaries
- Help establish team ways of working, including leveraging AI to accelerate discovery and strengthen execution
- Take accountability for outcomes across the product lifecycle and coach other product managers as the team grows
This is a ground-up opportunity to shape a new product, establish team culture, and grow ServiceNow's presence in a new market. You will work through ambiguity, take ownership from discovery through delivery and adoption, and help establish how a new team operates.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 12+ years of software product management experience, including ownership of enterprise products from discovery through launch and adoption
- Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving (using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact)
- Experience building products for finance operations, with direct experience in accounts receivable, collections, dispute management, or invoice-to-cash strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of how finance teams operate, including workflows, performance measures, financial controls, and relationships with customers and other business functions
- Understanding of how finance workflow products connect with ERP systems and other sources of customer, invoice, payment, and account data
- Experience defining product requirements and translating them into prioritized roadmaps and actionable development plans
- Deep curiosity about customer needs and track record of building relationships with business leaders and practitioners
- Strong prioritization skills and discipline to focus on activities creating greatest customer and business impact
- Ability to connect broader product vision with details required to deliver complete, usable solutions
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to establish direction and deliver results in new product or market
- Strong communication and influencing skills to explain complex problems to technical, business, and executive audiences
- Ability to lead across functions, coach less experienced colleagues, and build culture of ownership, learning, and execution
