ConductorOne is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to drive customer adoption and success in identity governance and access management. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to prospects and customers, architecting secure, scalable identity solutions that span IGA (Identity Governance & Administration), IAM (Identity & Access Management), CIEM (Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management), and PAM (Privileged Access Management).
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a trusted advisor on identity governance, authentication, authorization, and access control strategies
- Architecting and delivering technical solutions that map business requirements into scalable identity architectures
- Leading workshops, whiteboard sessions, and technical demonstrations showcasing the business value of identity automation and zero trust principles
- Designing and implementing integration strategies across AWS, GCP, and Azure, with deep understanding of native identity services and entitlement models
- Building expertise in protocols and standards (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, FIDO2) and explaining them to both technical and executive audiences
- Building, testing, and troubleshooting custom integrations using APIs, SDKs, Terraform, and automation frameworks
- Staying current on industry trends in identity governance, CIEM, just-in-time access, and zero trust architecture
Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or identity architecture roles. You should have strong hands-on experience with directory services (Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, LDAP, Google Workspace), cloud IAM platforms (AWS IAM Identity Center, GCP IAM, Azure role-based access), and comfort with Go, APIs, JSON/YAML, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform. Excellent communication skills are essential—you'll translate complex identity concepts for both engineers and business stakeholders. Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events is required.
