Salary: PLN 310,000 - 372,000 / annual

The Product Platform team builds foundational components and cross-functional capabilities for the ecosystem. As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, you will architect, implement, and maintain engineering solutions to solve complex problems while writing well-designed, testable code. You will independently deliver high-value projects from design through delivery and collaborate with product managers on requirements iterations, design feasibility, and user feedback.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architect and implement solutions for complex technical problems
- Independently own projects from design to delivery
- Collaborate with product managers on product requirements and feasibility
- Learn and promote best engineering practices across the team
- Document software functionality, system design, and project plans
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across the entire application stack
- Mentor junior engineers and provide clear, constructive guidance
- Coordinate with engineers and stakeholders from other teams to resolve technical issues and manage dependencies
You will work in a collaborative environment that values ownership, innovation, and continuous learning. The role is based in Warsaw, Poland, and requires legal authorization to work in Poland on the first day of employment. Visa sponsorship is not available.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive software engineering experience
- Track record of leading technical initiatives from design through delivery
- Proven ability to influence technical direction and make significant contributions to the architecture of complex, distributed systems
- Understanding of REST, service-based architecture, and distributed systems
- Rapid learner with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with object-oriented programming
- Experience building services with Java, SQL, and AWS
