Ontic provides AI-powered security software that helps corporate and government security teams identify threats, assess risk, and respond to incidents. Fortune 500 companies and federal agencies use Ontic's Connected Intelligence Platform to conduct risk assessments, protect against workplace violence, and manage threats more efficiently.
As Senior Product Manager reporting to the VP of Product, you will own cross-product management responsibilities across the Ontic platform. You will work with a US-based engineering team to address emergent product needs, collaborating closely with design, engineering, and go-to-market teams to deliver product changes ranging from high-priority bugs to new features. You will also assist with cross-product strategic initiatives such as roadmapping.
Key responsibilities include:
- Co-owning team priorities and roadmap development to maximize productivity
- Collaborating with other product teams to ensure alignment with overall goals
- Leading product discovery through customer interviews, validation cycles, and stakeholder insights
- Identifying and validating opportunities to apply AI or automation with focus on business impact and user value
- Translating user feedback and market insights into actionable requirements and prioritized backlogs
- Driving day-to-day execution by scoping, building, and delivering high-quality features with engineering and design
- Refining team processes and sprint rituals to improve clarity and delivery outcomes
- Defining and executing cross-product operational efforts such as quarterly roadmap refreshes
You bring structure to ambiguity, thrive in dynamic environments, and drive outcomes through strong discovery, rigorous documentation, and cross-functional alignment. Your work will directly impact Fortune 1000 clients and global security teams who rely on Ontic for critical decisions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience with a track record of delivering impactful B2B SaaS products
- Experience working in dynamic environments with broad focus
- Familiarity with AI-powered product features or automation use cases, including impact assessment and prioritization
- Strong discovery skills with ability to translate user insights into validated, high-value solutions
- Comfortable driving execution in agile environments with fast-moving teams
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to influence technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience mentoring other PMs or leading by example within high-performing product teams
- Familiarity with security or risk management domains is a plus
- Strong preference for Austin, TX-based candidates
