Klaviyo is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product-led growth (PLG) strategy and drive customer adoption, conversion, and expansion across the platform. This role sits at the intersection of product experience, growth, and monetization, focusing on creating seamless, high-converting customer experiences throughout the entire product lifecycle.
You will own key initiatives spanning signup, onboarding, activation, conversion, retention, and expansion. Your responsibilities include optimizing the self-service customer journey by identifying and removing friction across product discovery, account setup, trial experiences, purchasing, and upgrades. You'll accelerate time-to-value by building intuitive onboarding and activation experiences that help customers quickly understand Klaviyo's capabilities and achieve meaningful outcomes.
The role requires driving conversion and monetization through thoughtful in-product experiences that help customers understand available plans, evaluate additional capabilities, and seamlessly upgrade or expand their usage. You'll partner on pricing, packaging, and billing experiences to ensure customers can easily understand, purchase, and manage subscriptions as their businesses grow.
You will build a culture of experimentation by developing hypotheses, designing and evaluating experiments, and translating insights into product improvements that drive sustainable growth. Success will be defined and measured through clear growth metrics including activation, trial-to-paid conversion, feature adoption, retention, expansion, and revenue impact.
You'll leverage customer insights and behavioral data to identify opportunities, understand friction points, and prioritize initiatives with the greatest potential customer and business impact. Collaboration across product and go-to-market teams is essential to connect self-service and sales-assisted growth motions, creating consistent experiences for customers across different segments and stages of maturity.
Finally, you'll develop and execute a product roadmap that balances near-term growth opportunities with longer-term investments in scalable, customer-centric product experiences. This role may require up to 10% travel for new hire onboarding, client or partner work, team meetings, and industry events.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–5+ years of product management experience, ideally with a track record of driving product-led growth, activation, conversion, or monetization within a B2B SaaS or subscription-based business
- Strong product and UX instincts with demonstrated ability to simplify complex customer journeys and build intuitive, high-quality experiences that drive adoption and engagement
- Understanding of product-led growth fundamentals and experience improving meaningful business metrics through product improvements rather than relying solely on marketing or acquisition strategies
- Highly analytical with comfort defining success metrics, interpreting behavioral data, identifying opportunities, and using experimentation to inform product decisions
- Strong customer-first mindset with regular leverage of research, feedback, and product usage insights to understand customer needs and inform roadmap
- Understanding of how product experience and monetization intersect, including tradeoffs between reducing friction, delivering customer value, and driving revenue growth
- Experience working closely with engineering and design teams to ship impactful products, balancing speed, quality, and long-term scalability
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, identifying opportunities without predefined playbooks, and bringing strong bias for action and execution
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, communicate clear product vision, and align teams around measurable outcomes
- Builder mindset with curiosity, creativity, and ownership mentality to challenge assumptions, experiment with new approaches, and continuously improve customer experience
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience owning PLG initiatives at high-growth B2B SaaS company with both self-service and sales-assisted customer journeys
- Experience with subscription monetization, pricing and packaging, billing, checkout, or self-service upgrade experiences
- Familiarity with growth experimentation, funnel analytics, cohort analysis, and tools used to understand customer behavior and product performance
- Experience building onboarding, activation, or expansion experiences for complex, multi-product SaaS platforms
- Background in martech, ecommerce, CRM, or other data-driven SaaS products
- Experience leveraging AI-powered tools and emerging technologies to accelerate product development, experimentation, or customer value delivery
