CIQ builds enterprise infrastructure powering the world's most demanding workloads—from operating systems through AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, and cloud-native orchestration. The company serves major enterprises, government agencies, and research institutions across HPC, AI/ML, defense, and regulated industries. Products include Rocky Linux, RLC Pro Enterprise Linux distributions, Fuzzball workload orchestration, Warewulf Pro cluster provisioning, and Ascender Pro automation. As Senior Product Designer, you will own end-to-end design of complex enterprise products used by engineers, operators, and administrators at technically demanding organizations. This is an individual contributor role with real ownership—you will make design decisions that shape how products work and feel, build scalable systems, and use research and data to validate your work. You will not execute tickets; instead, you drive strategic design direction. Key responsibilities include: - Own design from discovery through delivery across one or more product areas - Conduct user research and usability testing with technically sophisticated enterprise users - Contribute to and grow the CIQ design system - Define and track design quality metrics to drive iteration - Prototype rapidly to explore and communicate ideas - Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers throughout the development cycle - Contribute to design culture and process on a small, high-ownership team CIQ has embraced AI fully. You will be encouraged to use AI tools as a core part of your design and prototyping workflow and contribute to maturing internal design processes. REQUIREMENTS: - 4+ years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating complex enterprise B2B product work - Deep experience designing data-heavy interfaces, multi-step workflows, admin tools, or developer-facing products - Strong interaction design and visual design skills with demonstrated ability to work across both - Hands-on experience with user research, usability testing, and measuring design outcomes - Proficiency in Figma - Active use of AI tools in design and prototyping workflows - Ability to operate independently, drive decisions, and move fast without waiting for direction - Proven work experience on technically complex B2B or enterprise software products - Portfolio required, demonstrating shipped product work and design thinking - Experience working on small design teams or as primary designer for a product area - Background in growth-stage technology company, preferably in developer tools, infrastructure, analytics, security, or related technical domain - No specific degree required; demonstrated skill and experience are what matter
