Material Bank, the world's largest material marketplace for the architecture and design industry operating in 37 countries, is seeking a Senior People Operations Specialist to drive the operational backbone of the employee experience. This role owns core People operations end-to-end: onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, HRIS management, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
You will coordinate all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, and HR documentation. Key responsibilities include administering employee benefits programs, open enrollment, leave administration, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims. You'll maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity across HR systems including ADP Workforce Now, Deel, and Greenhouse ATS.
The role involves supporting the implementation and adoption of new HR technologies and automation tools, leveraging AI to improve efficiency and enhance the employee experience. You'll help prepare employment agreements, compensation letters, bonus documentation, and other employee communications while supporting global compliance initiatives across 37 countries.
You'll serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, HR systems, and People processes. Additional responsibilities include contractor onboarding coordination, performance management program support, HR reporting, audits, and special projects. You'll partner with leadership to identify automation opportunities and process improvements, and collaborate with Recruiting on interview coordination and candidate assessment.
