As Senior People Operations Specialist, you will be Addepar's first People team hire on the ground in Poland. This is a hands-on role establishing the local HR presence, building scalable processes, and nurturing a vibrant, compliant, and inclusive company culture. You will provide the full spectrum of People Operations services and onsite People Business Partner triage, with a focus on the Poland office while supporting across the EMEA region.
Key responsibilities include: serving as the subject matter expert on local labour law and statutory requirements; being the first point of contact for HR and workplace operations inquiries from Polish employees; collaborating with the Workplace Operations team to ensure consistent in-office employee experience; administering benefits and perks programmes; owning end-to-end local onboarding and offboarding; partnering with UK-based People Business Partners on employee relations matters; providing administration for people systems like Workday; maintaining clean, accurate employee data in the HRIS; adapting global company culture to local nuances; advising on local immigration requirements; managing local vendor relationships; and customizing global HR policies to fit the Polish legal framework.
You will need at least 4 years of relevant HR experience, ideally in a fast-paced, growing global tech company. You must have in-depth knowledge of Polish employment laws, guidelines, and compliance regulations. Experience with HR systems (preferably Workday) and Google Suite is required. You should be comfortable making independent decisions, exhibit strong problem-solving skills, understand confidentiality, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Fluent Polish proficiency alongside fluent written and spoken English is essential. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
