The company enables partners to offer seamless investing and trading experiences worldwide, covering US equities, mutual funds, ETFs, fixed income, and options. As Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you will be the functional owner of DriveWealth's total rewards execution, serving as the anchor for payroll, benefits administration, and compliance as the company scales. This is a hands-on, high-execution role requiring a tech-forward mindset and meticulous attention to detail. Key responsibilities include: • End-to-end payroll processing for US and international (Lithuania) jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Leading the transition to a new payroll system provider, managing data integrity and system configuration • Maintaining strict regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws across multiple jurisdictions • Managing tax filings, garnishments, and statutory reporting with precision • Partnering closely with benefits brokers on day-to-day operations, employee inquiries, and HRIS data synchronization • Benefits accounting and reconciliation, including 401(k), HSA/FSA, and insurance funding verification • Maintaining audit-ready record-keeping and data hygiene across payroll, benefits, and immigration functions in preparation for external audits and potential IPO • Monitoring payroll costs and variances to support corporate financial reporting • Resolving payroll and benefits discrepancies with focus on precision and responsiveness • Serving as the internal point person for immigration coordination, managing renewal deadlines and liaising with external legal counsel You will work in a culture that blends fintech agility with Wall Street discipline, emphasizing both creativity and institutional-grade execution. The role is based in the Chicago office.
