As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you will own end-to-end US and international payroll processing, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting. You'll be the operational backbone of payroll, partnering closely with third-party vendors (Workday, Crowe), People Operations, Finance, and Treasury teams to streamline workflows and resolve complex payroll issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Process, prepare, and reconcile US and international payroll, including variable compensation, off-cycle payroll, terminations, and ad-hoc payments
- Manage third-party vendor relationships to create payroll cases and process off-cycle adjustments
- Process and reconcile benefits contributions (HSA, DSA, FSA, commuter benefits) and ensure alignment with payroll deductions
- Monitor Time & Attendance timesheets for non-exempt employees across US, Canada, UK, and Switzerland, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance
- Prepare and record payroll-related journal entries to the general ledger with accurate departmental coding and period-end accruals
- Support international payroll operations as needed
- Drive continuous process improvements, system integrations, and multi-country tax and regulatory compliance
You'll report to the Senior Manager of Global Payroll and have the flexibility to be based in Austin, Tempe, or San Ramon offices. This role requires strong attention to detail, cross-functional collaboration skills, and experience with global payroll operations.
