Scopely, a leading mobile games publisher, is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to join Flamed, their in-house creative agency, in Barcelona on a hybrid basis (3 days on-site). You will primarily create animations and motion graphics for MONOPOLY GO!, one of the world's top mobile games, and support other titles in their extensive portfolio.
In this role, you will design and execute high-quality 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects for user acquisition ads, social media content, in-game cinematics, and promotional materials. You'll translate static artwork, storyboards, and wireframes into engaging animations that enhance player experience and match the vibrant, playful aesthetic of Monopoly GO!. You'll actively participate in creative review sessions, absorb feedback from Art Directors and peers, and iterate rapidly to achieve the highest quality standards. You'll maintain organized project files, follow best practices for asset delivery, and ensure all motion files are optimized for smooth mobile gaming performance.
You bring 5+ years of professional experience in motion design, animation, advertising, entertainment marketing, or related fields. You have expert-level proficiency in industry-standard tools including After Effects, Cinema 4D, Octane Render Engine, Adobe Premiere, and Photoshop. You possess excellent art direction, storytelling sensibility, and visual taste. You have hands-on experience with video editing, color grading, and sound design. You're collaborative, detail-oriented, passionate about creative excellence, and fluent in English. A strong portfolio or video reel demonstrating your motion design expertise is mandatory.
Bonus qualifications include hands-on experience with Unreal Engine for cinematic renders, knowledge of Unity and/or illustration, understanding of social media and performance marketing for user acquisition creatives, and proactive interest in AI-assisted design tools.
