Snowflake is seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Delivery to lead the Professional Services team in executing complex data platform migrations and AI/GenAI implementations. In this role, you will manage a team of Solutions Architects and Consultants, overseeing the design, implementation, and deployment of enterprise-scale Snowflake solutions. You'll partner closely with customers, system integrators, and internal stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Sales) to drive successful outcomes and position Snowflake as the premier data warehousing and analytics platform.
Key responsibilities include: leading and mentoring a technical delivery team; sourcing and interviewing candidates; providing quality oversight on Snowflake engagements; designing and overseeing complex AI/GenAI solution deployments; collaborating on sales pursuits, project scoping, and statements of work; developing delivery methodologies; resolving customer technical challenges; and presenting capabilities to internal teams, partners, and customers.
You bring 10+ years of customer-facing technical experience (pre-sales or post-sales), 5+ years managing and developing technical teams, and 5+ years selling professional services with expertise in large-scale database technologies (Oracle, Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum, Hadoop). You have deep knowledge of data integration tools (Informatica, DataStax, Talend, Matillion), BI platforms (Microstrategy, Business Objects, Tableau), and the complete analytics stack from ETL to BI. Strong SQL and scripting skills (Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash) are essential. You excel at presenting to both technical and executive audiences, mentoring professionals on evolving technologies, and have a proven track record selling data/analytics software to enterprise customers. A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience is required. Travel up to 25% for customer engagements.
