Verkada is a high-growth, pre-IPO physical AI platform company protecting organizations through integrated security solutions (video, access control, sensors, alarms, intercoms, visitor management). With 30,000+ customers including 100+ Fortune 500 companies, $5.8B valuation, and $1B+ annualized bookings, the company is scaling rapidly across 170+ countries. You will join the Strategic Finance & Business Operations team as a critical analytical partner to Sales & Marketing leadership. This role owns portions of a multi-hundred-million-dollar GTM budget and drives strategic initiatives that directly impact company growth. Key responsibilities include: leading the planning and goal-setting process for bookings and pipeline forecasting (critical as the company prepares for IPO); driving weekly business reviews with the CRO and CFO; generating insights on business segment performance, acquisition channels, and GTM program ROI; owning accountability for GTM budget allocation decisions; partnering on strategic GTM strategy questions; and leading change projects to enable next-level operational scale. You bring 6-8+ years of progressive high-growth experience from roles in Growth, Strategic Finance, Business Operations, Sales Operations, or similar analytical functions at fast-growing startups. Background in investing, management consulting, or investment banking is valued. You combine strong analytical horsepower with excellent modeling and data skills—comfortable translating business concepts into well-structured spreadsheet models and autonomously generating insights from data. SQL fluency and proficiency with AI tools are pluses. You pair meticulous attention to detail with strong strategic instincts and 80/20 thinking. You thrive in fast-paced startup environments, comfortable creating structure from ambiguity and pivoting quickly. You communicate effectively across diverse stakeholders (sales reps to engineers) and build credibility through partnership and constructive challenge. You bring a positive, learn-it-all mindset and are known for being great to work with.
