Salary: USD 168,750 - 235,000 / annual

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Manager, Solution Consulting (SLED) to lead and manage a team of pre-sales Solution Consultants. In this player/coach role, you will drive technical solutions, support the sales process, and collaborate closely with sales and product teams to ensure successful customer engagement and revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Solution Consultants, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development. Set performance goals, monitor progress, and evaluate team member performance. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the broader Solution Consultant teams. Sales Support and Strategy: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and align technical solutions accordingly. Provide technical expertise throughout the sales process, including product demonstrations, presentations, and proposals. Develop deep understanding of company products, technologies, and industry trends to articulate value propositions. Assist in defining sales strategies and developing sales collateral. Customer Engagement: Engage directly with key customers to understand technical requirements and address concerns. Act as a trusted advisor offering technical insights and recommendations. Conduct site visits, demonstrations, and presentations. Deliver proof-of-value demonstrations. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product management to provide feedback on features and market demands. Collaborate with marketing to develop technical content, case studies, and sales tools. Coordinate with implementation and support teams for seamless sales-to-implementation transitions. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. Identify process improvements and implement best practices for sales engineering operations. Provide regular reports, metrics, and insights to senior management on sales engineering performance. Travel: Expected to travel up to 40% of the time on average. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent work experience - Proven experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or related role, preferably in software or technology industry - Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to inspire and motivate teams - Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences - In-depth technical knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity, products, and industry trends - Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders - Analytical mindset with ability to analyze data, metrics, and sales trends to drive informed decisions - Proactive and self-driven; ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environment
