Honeydew Health is a high-growth healthtech company building clinical infrastructure to help providers reach patients quickly and reliably. The company has already served 40,000+ patients and is scaling 5x year-over-year. You will own the architecture of learning and quality for Honeydew's Care Coordination team, building scalable systems from the ground up. This is a greenfield opportunity to transform ad hoc onboarding and reactive QA into structured, measurable programs that support 60,000+ patients and beyond. In your first six months, you will: - Design and launch a continuous training program targeting 25% improvement in information retention - Modernize the QA function with AI-assisted tools and processes that accurately reflect Care Coordinator performance - Redesign new-hire onboarding to reduce ramp time from 6 weeks to 4 weeks while maintaining quality and sentiment Your core responsibilities include: - Building a structured onboarding academy and competency-based skill-development curriculum - Designing a QA framework with clear KPIs that enables fast, targeted coaching rather than delayed scorecards - Partnering with Care Coordination leadership to surface frontline feedback and training needs - Collaborating with Product and Engineering to keep training current as workflows evolve - Creating dashboards and systems that enable proactive identification of quality and performance issues You'll need 5+ years in learning & development, quality assurance, or workforce performance leadership, with demonstrated experience building structured programs from scratch. You should have led managers or senior individual contributors, and possess strong data fluency for building and interpreting performance dashboards. Experience designing QA frameworks with measurable KPIs and tying training to performance outcomes is essential. Nice-to-haves include healthcare compliance and regulatory knowledge, telehealth or multi-state healthcare operations experience, adult learning theory background, product partnership experience, process improvement certifications (Lean/Six Sigma), competency-based progression program design, exposure to AI-driven learning tools, and scaling experience in high-growth startups. You'll thrive here if you want to build a function from zero without inheriting legacy systems, are energized by ambiguity, lead through influence across teams, balance speed and quality, and value direct partnership with executive leadership.
