Salary: USD 128,000 - 195,000 / annual

Gong is seeking a Senior Manager of Equity Administration to lead the company's global equity programs through a critical growth phase, including IPO readiness and execution. This is a strategic leadership role that owns the end-to-end equity administration function, ensuring compliance, scalability, and operational excellence across all employee equity plans. Key responsibilities include leading the global equity administration function covering stock options, RSUs, and other equity-based compensation programs; managing and optimizing equity administration systems; driving IPO readiness for equity processes including S-1 preparation, SEC compliance (ASC 718 disclosures), and SOX readiness; partnering with Technical Accounting on accurate accounting treatment and reporting; collaborating with Legal on equity plan design and regulatory compliance; working with HR and People teams on grant strategies and employee education; overseeing cap table management; coordinating with Payroll and Finance on tax withholding and global compliance; managing external vendors, auditors, and consultants; supporting due diligence and valuation processes; developing policies and procedures; and providing leadership and mentorship to equity administration team members. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of equity administration experience with proven leadership responsibilities, including experience supporting a company through IPO readiness or public company equity administration. Deep knowledge of equity compensation accounting (ASC 718) and SEC reporting requirements is essential. Hands-on experience with equity management platforms (Carta, Shareworks, etc.) and strong understanding of cap table management, equity plan design, and global equity compliance are required. The role demands excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with Legal, Finance, HR, and Payroll teams, strong project management abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills for explaining complex equity topics to diverse audiences. A CPA, CEP (Certified Equity Professional), or equivalent certification is preferred. Experience in high-growth, late-stage private companies (pre-IPO) is highly valued. Experience with Israeli equity awards and related tax/regulatory frameworks (e.g., Section 102) is a plus.
